These Vendor Listing Terms govern the submission, publication, maintenance, and removal of business listings on Carolina Celebration. By creating, claiming, or maintaining a vendor listing, you agree to these terms.

Purpose

Carolina Celebration is an online directory designed to connect couples with wedding venues, wedding professionals, and wedding-related services throughout North Carolina.

Our goal is to provide accurate, helpful, and trustworthy information while maintaining a positive experience for both couples and vendors.

Eligibility

To create or claim a vendor listing, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age.

Be authorized to represent the business.

Provide truthful and accurate information.

Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

We reserve the right to verify business information before publishing or updating any listing.

Listing Information

Vendors are responsible for ensuring that all submitted information is accurate and current, including but not limited to:

Business name

Contact information

Website

Social media links

Service areas

Business descriptions

Pricing information

Hours of operation

Photos and videos

Logos

Licenses or certifications (when applicable)

Vendors agree to promptly update their listings whenever information changes.

Ownership of Submitted Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit.

By submitting content to Carolina Celebration, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

Display your listing.

Publish your photographs, logos, videos, and descriptions.

Resize or optimize images for website performance.

Edit formatting, spelling, grammar, and layout for consistency.

Promote your listing through Carolina Celebration’s website, newsletters, and social media channels.

This license continues until your content is removed from the website, except where copies remain in backups or archived systems.

Copyright Responsibility

You represent and warrant that:

You own the content you submit, or

You have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, or permissions to use it.

You agree not to upload:

Copyrighted photographs without permission.

Images copied from other websites without authorization.

Stock photographs without an appropriate license.

Logos or trademarks you do not own or have permission to use.

Vendors are solely responsible for any copyright claims arising from submitted content.

Carolina Celebration Review Process

To maintain quality and consistency, Carolina Celebration reserves the right to:

Review submissions before publication.

Correct spelling, formatting, or grammatical errors.

Request additional information.

Decline incomplete or misleading listings.

Remove duplicate listings.

Reject listings that do not meet our standards.

Publication of a listing is at our sole discretion.

Carolina Celebration Standards

We expect vendors to:

Represent services accurately.

Honor quoted agreements.

Treat clients and fellow vendors professionally.

Conduct business ethically.

Follow applicable laws and regulations.

Repeated complaints or documented misconduct may result in listing suspension or removal.

Reviews and Ratings

Carolina Celebration may allow users to submit reviews or ratings.

We reserve the right to remove reviews that:

Contain false or misleading information.

Include abusive or threatening language.

Violate applicable laws.

Contain spam or promotional content.

Are submitted fraudulently.

Removal of a review does not necessarily indicate agreement or disagreement with its content.

Prohibited Content

Listings may not include:

False or deceptive information.

Copyright-infringing materials.

Defamatory statements.

Illegal content.

Offensive, hateful, or discriminatory material.

Malware or malicious links.

Misleading pricing.

Impersonation of another business.

Listing Removal

Carolina Celebration reserves the right to suspend, edit, or remove listings for reasons including, but not limited to:

Violation of these terms.

Copyright infringement.

Fraudulent activity.

Repeated customer complaints.

Business closure.

Spam.

Illegal activity.

Failure to maintain accurate information.

Whenever practical, we may attempt to notify the vendor before permanent removal.

Free and Future Paid Listings

Carolina Celebration currently offers certain listing opportunities at no cost.

We reserve the right to introduce premium listings, enhanced advertising, featured placements, or paid services in the future.

Existing free listings do not guarantee free services indefinitely.

No Guarantee of Business

A listing on Carolina Celebration does not guarantee:

Customer inquiries.

Bookings.

Sales.

Search engine rankings.

Featured placement.

Business success.

Carolina Celebration provides a platform for discovery but does not guarantee business outcomes.

Limitation of Liability

Carolina Celebration provides listings on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We make no warranties regarding:

Listing accuracy.

Availability of the website.

Business performance.

Customer interactions.

Vendor qualifications.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Carolina Celebration shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of the website or vendor listings.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Carolina Celebration, its owners, employees, affiliates, and representatives from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

• Your submitted content.
• Copyright infringement.
• Violation of these terms.
• Violation of applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Vendor Listing Terms periodically.

Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised Effective Date.

Continued use of Carolina Celebration after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Vendor Listing Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
